A Photo A Day

Project 365 – Day 122

May 10, 2010

I like the contrast of the fleshy leaves of the Autumn Joy Sedum and the feathery leaves of the Moonbeam Coreopsis.

Wonderful juxtaposition of the textures! I have sedum growing at the side of my house & never bothered to photograph it because it doesn’t have any blooms!! You’ve opened my eyes!

Pam, great photo! I have both flowers in the garden that are just starting to appear. We’re still having frost and I can’t wait to get out there and do some planting! You obviously live where it’s warmer!

What state do you live in to have such beautiful vegetables so early in the season?

Not my favorite flora, but love the composition of the shot!

    Well done!

I love that–the textures, size, and colors contrast, but make a beautiful composite. Plan or happy accident?
