A Photo A Day

Roses

June 7, 2011

Roses

After much reading, and hand wringing, and nervous starts, I have declared this the week I finally once and for all learn how to do textures.  So, everyday this week, I will practice with textures.  Some may be good, some will probably be bad.  I begin with these roses from my yard.  I just realized that people usually say what texture they used.  I have no idea.  I was experimenting and didn’t take any notes!!

Pam, what beautiful roses, I think you captured the texture of them well.

Your Roses are beautiful, a tighter crop or composition would have brought out the textures more.
