A Photo A Day

2012/039 Tree

Tree

I remember once in art class in high school, we had to create a painting using only shades of gray.  This kind of reminds me of that.  The land, the water, the trees.

Oh yes, now you mention it, we had to do that too.
I find the leaves popping into the picture on the left side a bit distracting. To me it would have been a better photo without those. And I’m so glad I found something ‘wrong’ with one of your photos. You make me feel rather inadequate for most of the time 😉

Pam that would be a rather interesting task to get creative with only shades of gray, what did you draw? Have a great day!

I’m not a photographer, but I like the leaves on the left. It helps me hold a sense of perspective, of balance, of not being sucked completely into the main tree, of being more objective. Those are probably not photo criteria, however.

Oh the mighty tree!!! You did ‘er well sweetie.

I’m lovin’ that foggy contrast of the shoreline.
