I remember once in art class in high school, we had to create a painting using only shades of gray. This kind of reminds me of that. The land, the water, the trees.

I find the leaves popping into the picture on the left side a bit distracting. To me it would have been a better photo without those. And I’m so glad I found something ‘wrong’ with one of your photos. You make me feel rather inadequate for most of the time 😉

I’m not a photographer, but I like the leaves on the left. It helps me hold a sense of perspective, of balance, of not being sucked completely into the main tree, of being more objective. Those are probably not photo criteria, however.
