This week’s #dogwood52 challenge was black and white landscape.  I headed up to Soddy Lake because I thought it might give me the barren contrasty look that I was going for.  This is for #dogwoodweek5.

I’ve joined a 52 week photo challenge.  It was create by Dogwood Photography.  I missed week one which was self portrait, but jumped in for week two which was landscape.  For this landscape shot, I went to Soddy Lake in the early morning.  It was cold and the mist was rising off of the water and catching the glow of the rising sun.

I took this photo of a couple walking through the alley way of the Seattle Gum Wall.  I used Topaz Impressions plug in to give it a painterly look.
