A Photo A Day
Today’s challenge was the number 5. Here are five bowls. Now, these are not charming handmade bowls, these are supposed to be five identical bowls. It kind of makes me wonder about the quality control at the plant that made these.
It was also CSA day – August 22, 2010. Eggplant, cucumbers, okra, bell peppers, hot peppers, corn and garlic. They forgot the tomatoes and potatoes – left them at the farm.
CSA for 08/16/2010. Bell peppers, garlic, tomatoes, corn, okra, cucumbers, and blueberries!
CSA for August 9, 2010. Watermelon, tomatoes, bell peppers, okra, squash, and potatoes.
CSA for 8/2/2010. Green beans, tomatoes, okra, squash, garlic, cucumbers, and watermelon.
CSA for July 28, 2010. Cucumbers, cantaloupe, green beans, squash, basil and tomatoes.
CSA for July 19, 2010. Squash, tomatoes, corn, watermelon, and wax beans.
**CSA – Community Supported Agriculture – where you pay for a share of a farm up front and then once a week you get to pick up a box of whatever was picked for that week.

**A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is where you pay up front to a farm for a season of fresh produce. Once a week, you pick up a box of whatever was picked that day!

*CSA – Community Supported Agriculture – where you pay for a season of veggies up front to the farmer and then every week get a box filled with whatever was harvested for that week. Since I am taking a picture a day anyway, I thought it would be a good way to chronicle what we receive.
CSA – Week 10 – June 28, 2010. Potatoes, onions, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers, carrots, basil, and garlic.
**A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is where you pay up front to a local, organic farmer for veggies throughout the summer. Every Monday, we pick up our share. Since I was taking a picture everyday anyway, I decided to use this to chronicle what we receive each week.
CSA, week 9, 6/21/2001. Onions, tomatoes, squash, green beans, basil, garlic, cucumbers, cabbage, and parsley.
**Note: A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is when you buy a share of a farm. You pay a flat fee up front and then once a week you pick up a box of veggies for that week. Some weeks you get lots and some weeks you don’t get so much. I thought that since I was taking a picture a day anyway, that on CSA pickup day, I would go ahead and take a pic of the veggies. This way, I can look back and see what veggies we got and when.
