For MCP Project 52 week 34 – theme is “connections”
I never knew my husband’s mother. She died before I met him. This is her sewing machine. Every time I sew on it, I think of her. I think of her hand turning the wheel, threading the machine. I wonder what she thought as she sewed. I wish I had known her, but I am thankful to have this connection to her.
For MCP Project 52 week 33. Theme is slow down and look back. I slowed down and looked at my geraniums, and I looked back in my memory back before this horrendous summer, back when they had pretty red blossoms!

For MCP Project 52 – 30/52 – theme “Letter of the alphabet”. So, I’ve got not one letter, but 3 letters.
Also, not one pic, but 2 because I just couldn’t decide. Which do you like better? I think I like the first one the most.
AND, you may have noticed that Smudge does not look like a happy camper. We had to take him in to have some dental work done and while he was under, they shaved him to get rid of some of the knots that I work on a bit every evening. I’m sure he feels cooler in this heat, but he looks soooo funny!
For MCP Project 52 – week 28 – theme is “Get in Close”. Without a macro lens, this is as close I get 🙂
For MCP Project 52 – theme – Sweet Relief.
Sweet relief – some sweet Southern ice tea, in vintage dogwood glasses, with a sprig of mint.
For MCP Project 52 – theme – CRAVE. I didn’t even have to think about this one, the only thing to decide on was how to take a picture of the chocolate!
