I thought I would venture away from my roses and peonies. But not too far away, still flowers. I found this geranium blown off from the plant after a storm. I left it exactly as it lay on my steps. A few petals fallen over on the step below and drops of water on the flower. In looking at it, I probably should have photoshopped out the dark brown worn spot on the bottom step. It competes too much with the geranium, and your eye doesn’t know where to go. I used Kim’s True Grit preset and her texture “Confidence.”
I am entering this photo in Kim Klassen’s Texture Tuesday.
