We had the pleasure of visiting Napa, California in the fall. Before this trip, I don’t think I realized that California even had a fall. But these grapevines were gorgeous in shades of honeyed yellow.

One of the things I loved about California in general was all the plants. My step son has lemon trees in his backyard! I am so jealous. I love this little lemon tree in a barrel out on the side walk!

Earthquake Damage in Napa California
On August 24, 2014 at 6.0 earthquake occurred near Napa, California. We watched it on the news and saw the destruction. We weren’t sure what to expect when we visited Napa in November. What we saw were several buildings under repair. Some businesses still closed. Some buildings appeared to have not sustained any damage at all.
