In editing these photos from my recent trip to California, I realized that I need to come up with a better way of identifying them. When we stopped at a city, that was pretty easy. But there were so many places that we simply pulled off to the side or headed up towards a known look out point. This was somewhere along the Pacific Coast Highway. I am pretty sure it wa a park, and we walked out to the tip and I shot this photo looking back over where we had been. We had just crossed that bridge (I hate bridges). I think what I need to do is take a photo of a sign or something signaling the location before I start taking photos there. Unfortunately that doesn’t help with these!

A Stop Along the Pacific Coast Highway
Just a few more photos as we continued our trip up the Pacific Coast Highway. This was somewhere in California!
Somewhere Along The Pacific Coast Highway
We travelled the Pacific Coast Highway from South to North, making it more of a challenge, but less scary for someone who is terrified of heights like me. So, we didn’t pull off probably as much as we would have had we been going in the other direction. This was one of our first pull-offs. Somewhere between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. I love a rocky coast so much more than a beachy coast.
From the same location as the first photo, I turned and saw this woman sitting on a rock reading. If I lived in California, this is where you would find me. Sitting in some gorgeous location, reading.
