Our trip to California was a whirlwind event.  It was a see as much of the Pacific Coast Highway and stop at as many wineries as you can kind of trip.  We rarely spent more than half a day in any one place, the only exception being San Francisco.  One of the penciled in stops was a quick morning pause at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park.  Unfortunately we arrived there before it was open!  It was also our only day of cloudy, drizzly weather.  We did a quick run through, huddled in our rain jackets before heading on to more wine and more sun!
