If you thought the outside of The Madonna Inn was over the top, just wait until you see the inside! We arrived in November, and it was decorated for Christmas! There was pink every where you looked, from the tufted Victorian type chairs to the tablecloths and napkins. There were Christmas trees flocked with white snow, tucked into every corner.
A chandelier made from a wine barrel and colorful glass grapes hung from the ceiling! Notice all the grapes and vines on all of the wood work.
I wish that we’d had time to sit in the bar area and drink a cocktail. Though I don’t know what I would have ordered, it would have to be something more suited than my usual gin and tonic. A pink lady perhaps?
